Description
The Flax lily (Phormium) is a decorative design element in the garden, but also adorns pots on balconies or terraces. It feels most at home in a sunny location with the most well-drained, loose soil possible. In favourable conditions, this grass reaches a height of approx. 1 m.

Standard container plant soil. Normal soil.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
As soon as temperatures no longer fall below 5°C, even at night, this plant can be taken outside. A shower with lukewarm water removes dust and revitalises the darling. A semi-shady spot out of direct sunlight is best to prevent leaf damage. If necessary, the plant can also be repotted outdoors in spring, which saves cleaning work indoors.
