Description
With its dark red leaf colouring, the Flax lily 'Platt´s Black' (Phormium) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns containers on balconies or terraces with its upright and spreading growth. The pink flower plumes adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with the most well-drained, loose soil possible. In favourable conditions, this grass reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows up to 1.2 m wide.

Care
As soon as the temperatures no longer fall below 5°C, even at night, this plant can be taken outside. A shower with lukewarm water will remove dust and revitalise your favourite. A semi-shady spot without direct sunlight is best to prevent leaf damage. If necessary, the plant can also be repotted outdoors in spring, which saves cleaning work indoors.
