Description
With its medium green leaf colouring, the Phyllostachys (Phyllostachys atrovaginata) is a decorative design element in the garden which, with its upright growth, can be used as a free-growing hedge or as a single plant. Sunny to semi-shady locations with well-drained soil are preferred. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 7 m and grows up to 5 m wide.
