Description
With its medium green leaf colouring and black stems, Black bamboo (Phyllostachys nigra) is a decorative design element in the garden which, with its upright growth habit, is particularly suitable for use as a single plant. Sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected locations with well-drained and nutrient-rich soil are preferred.
