Description
The Fasanenspiere 'Magic Ball' (Physocarpus opulifolius) is a dense, roundish, deciduous small shrub with decorative, egg-shaped, yellow-green leaves. The golden-yellow-orange shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears creamy white flowers arranged in umbels from May to July. These produce red-brown fruits from September. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres.
