Description
The Ninebark 'Summer Wine'® (Physocarpus opulifolius) is a bushy, upright, deciduous small shrub with decorative, egg-shaped, dark red leaves. It also bears white flowers arranged in umbels from June to July. These produce red fruits from September. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually grows to a height of around 1.5 metres and is around 2 metres wide.
