Description
Obedient plant (Physostegia virginiana) is an upright, stolon-forming perennial that produces pink or purple, lip-shaped flowers arranged in spikes from July to September. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green. In a sunny position with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and spreads to approx. 40 cm. The Obedient plant is highly frost-hardy.
