Description
The Norway spruce 'Maxwellii' (Picea abies) is a small tree that grows compactly in a cushion shape and usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and a width of around 2 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are greenish-yellow in colour. Decorative brown cones adorn Picea abies 'Maxwellii' from September. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers sandy, loamy, slightly acidic soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
