Description
The Colorado spruce 'Hoopsii' (Picea pungens) is a small tree that grows in a conical shape and usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and a width of around 4.5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are silver-blue in colour. Decorative light brown cones adorn Picea pungens 'Hoopsii' from September. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained soil in a sunny position.
