Description
The Sitka spruce 'Midget' (Picea sitchensis) is a large tree that grows compactly and usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and a width of approx. 80 cm. Its needle-shaped leaves are blue-grey in colour. Decorative cones adorn Picea sitchensis 'Midget' from August. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
