Description
The Bitterholz (Picrasma quassioides) is a bushy, upright large shrub that produces yellowish-white flowers. They appear from May to June. These produce purple-red fruits. The Bitterholz also has pinnate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and is around 2 metres wide. The Bitterholz makes no particular demands on the soil.
