Description
The Japanese andromeda 'Polar Passion' (Pieris japonica) is a bushy, broad shrub that produces red flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from March to May. The Japanese andromeda 'Polar Passion' also has shiny, lanceolate, dark green leaves with a white margin. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.
