Description
The Japanese andromeda 'Ralto Rose' (Pieris japonica) is a bushy, broad, upright shrub that produces pink-coloured flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from March to May. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm.
