Description
The Japanese andromeda 'White Cascade' (Pieris japonica) is a bushy, broad shrub that produces white flowers arranged in panicles. They appear from April to May. These produce light brown, round fruits from August. The Japanese andromeda 'White Cascade' also has shiny, lanceolate, dark green leaves. Its bark is reddish-brown and fissured in strips. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres.
