Description
The Japanese andromeda 'White Cascade' (Pieris japonica) is a bushy, broad shrub that produces white flowers arranged in panicles. These appear from April to May. From these, light brown, round fruits develop from August onwards. The Japanese andromeda 'White Cascade' also bears glossy, lanceolate, dark-green leaves. Its bark is reddish-brown and fissured in stripes. In a semi-shaded to shaded, wind-protected position with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and spreads to approx. 1.2 m.
