Description
The Dwarf mountain pine (Pinus mugo) is a large shrub that grows sprawling, multi-stemmed and usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and a width of around 5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are dark green in colour. Decorative brown-yellow cones adorn Pinus mugo from October. This shrub tolerates frost well. It prefers a sunny to semi-shady location. The Dwarf mountain pine makes no special demands on the soil.
