Description
The Dwarf mountain pine 'Ophir' (Pinus mugo) is a small shrub that grows compact and spherical and usually reaches a height of around 1.2 metres and a width of around 1.2 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves have a medium green colour. They turn a beautiful green-yellow colour in winter. Decorative brown-yellow cones adorn Pinus mugo 'Ophir' from October. This shrub tolerates frost well. It prefers a sunny to semi-shady location. The Dwarf mountain pine 'Ophir' makes no special demands on the soil.
