Description
The Dwarf mountain pine (Pinus mugo) is a small shrub that grows cushion-shaped and rounded and usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and a width of around 3 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves have a medium green colour. Decorative brown-yellow cones adorn Pinus mugo var. pumilio from October. This shrub is well tolerant of frost. It prefers a sunny to semi-shady location. The Dwarf mountain pine makes no special demands on the soil.
