Description
The Austrian pine 'Komet' (Pinus nigra) is a shrub that grows columnar, slender and usually reaches a height of approx. 2.5 m and a width of approx. 80 cm. Its needle-shaped leaves are blue-green in colour. Decorative cones adorn Pinus nigra 'Komet' from September. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, calcareous, sandy soil in a sunny position.
