Description
The Japanese white pine 'Saphir' (Pinus parviflora) is a woody plant that grows upright and usually reaches a height of around 3 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are blue-green in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, calcareous, slightly acidic soil in a sunny position.
