Description
The Weymouth pine 'Contorta' (Pinus strobus) is a large tree that grows sprawling and usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and a width of around 12 metres. Its twisted leaves have a blue-green colour. This tree is well tolerant of frost and prefers humus-rich, loose soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
