Description
The Chios mastic (Pistacia lentiscus) is a very popular, evergreen container plant with black-red fruits that can be produced with good care. Its decorative flowers appear from March to June. The medium green leaves are ovate and pinnate. The location should be as sunny as possible. A well-drained and sandy soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Chios mastic reaches a height of approx. 2 m and grows up to 1.5 m wide.
