Description
The Schmalblättrige Klebsame 'Variegatum' (Pittosporum tenuifolium) is a dense, ovoid, evergreen garden plant with decorative, lanceolate, dark green leaves. The light green shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears purple-red flowers from May to July. These produce black fruits. They exude a pleasant fragrance. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to around 4 metres wide.
