Description
The Steineibe 'Red Embers' (Podocarpus nivalis) is a shrub that grows compact and rounded and usually reaches a height of around 1 metre and a width of around 1 metre. Its leaves are dark green in colour. They turn a beautiful chestnut brown colour in winter. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained soil in a sunny position.
