Description
The Glänzender Schildfarn (Polystichum makinoi) is a decorative design element in the garden with its glossy, leathery, feathery, medium green leaf fronds. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, moist to wet soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy fern reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows up to 60 cm wide.
