Description
With its feathery, medium-green fronds, the Giant holly fern (Polystichum munitum) is a decorative feature in the garden. It thrives best in a semi-shaded to shaded position with soil that is as well-drained and rich in humus as possible. Under favourable conditions, this hardy fern reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and spreads up to 50 cm.
