Populus alba - 60-90 CM

Description
The White poplar (Populus alba) is an upright, loose garden plant that produces inconspicuous flowers. They appear from March to April. These produce white fruits. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 35 metres and is around 18 metres wide. The White poplar makes no particular demands on the soil.

- Pruning and sawing wounds as well as broken branches should be treated with a wound sealant as soon as possible to prevent pathogens from entering the plant. - Pruning should never be carried out in spring: The wounds bleed very heavily, weakening the tree.
