Description
The Grey poplar 'Serotina' (Populus canescens) is a broad, roundish large tree that produces red flowers arranged in catkins. They appear in April. The Grey poplar 'Serotina' also has heart-shaped, dark green leaves. Its bark is grey and smooth. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 25 metres.
