Description
The Cottonwood 'Purple Tower' (Populus deltoides) is an upright, columnar, deciduous small tree with decorative, egg-shaped, dark red leaves. It also bears pink-red flowers arranged in catkins in May. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 10 metres and grows to a width of around 6 metres.
