Description
The Chinesische Balsam-Pappel (Populus szechuanica) is an upright, roundish large tree that produces creamy white flowers. They appear from April to May. The Chinesische Balsam-Pappel also has heart-shaped, medium-green leaves. The reddish shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is grey-white. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of around 40 metres. The Chinesische Balsam-Pappel makes no special demands on the soil.
