Description
With its brown flowers from July to August, the Shining pondweed (Potamogeton lucens) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly well suited to areas such as ponds and aquariums. It prefers well-drained soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Shining pondweed is well tolerant of frost. The runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm.
