Description
The Cinquefoil (Potentilla tonguei) is a broad, clump-forming perennial that produces orange-yellow, cup-shaped flowers from July to August. Its lobed leaves are dark green. In a sunny position with humus-rich, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and spreads to approx. 30 cm. The Cinquefoil is highly frost-hardy.

If watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.
