Description
The Wild cherry 'Büttners Rote Knorpelkirsche' (Prunus avium) produces yellow-red fruits. They have a sweet-sour, aromatic flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from mid-June. Its white, pleasantly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. The Wild cherry 'Büttners Rote Knorpelkirsche' with its ovoid and upright habit grows to around 6 metres high and 4 metres wide.
