Description
The Wild cherry 'Schneiders Späte Knorpel' (Prunus avium) produces dark red, firm fruits. They have a sweet, juicy flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from the beginning of July. Its white, pleasantly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. The Wild cherry 'Schneiders Späte Knorpel' with its ovoid and upright habit grows to around 6 metres high and 4 metres wide.
