Description
The Wild cherry 'Sunburst' (Prunus avium) produces dark red, medium-sized, soft and juicy fruits. They are round and have a sweet, aromatic, sweet-sour flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from June onwards. Its white, pleasantly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. The Wild cherry 'Sunburst' with its ovoid and upright habit grows to around 6 metres high and 4 metres wide.
