Description
The Wild cherry 'Sweetheart'® (Prunus avium) produces red, large, firm fruits. They have a sweet, aromatic flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from the beginning of August. Its white, pleasantly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. The Wild cherry 'Sweetheart'® with its ovoid and upright habit grows to around 5.5 m high and 3.5 m wide.
