Description
The Wild cherry (Prunus avium) produces red fruits. They have a sweet, aromatic flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from June. Its white, pleasantly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. The Wild cherry with its egg-shaped habit grows to around 20 metres high and 15 metres wide.
