Description
The Wild cherry 'Van' (Prunus avium) produces red, dark red, large, firm and juicy fruits. They are round and have a sweet flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from June. Its white, pleasantly fragrant flowers are a beautiful sight. The Wild cherry 'Van' with its ovoid and upright habit grows to around 6 metres high and 5 metres wide.
