Description
The Süßkirsche 'Varikse Zwarte' (Prunus avium) is a small ovoid tree with decorative, black-red fruits. These exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces white flowers from April to May. The Süßkirsche 'Varikse Zwarte' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres.
