Description
The Common almond (Prunus dulcis) produces brown, medium-sized fruits. They are oval and have an aromatic, nutty flavour. A calcareous, loose, dry soil and a sunny location create ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from September. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. The Common almond grows upright to a height of around 7 metres.
