Description
The Cherry laurel 'Antonius' (Prunus laurocerasus) is a dense, evergreen small shrub with decorative, glossy, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears white flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. These produce black, round fruits from August. They exude a strong fragrance. In a sunny to shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and grows to around 1.5 metres wide.
