Description
The Cherry laurel 'Bonaparte'® (Prunus laurocerasus) is a dense, slender shrub that produces pink-white flowers arranged in clusters with a strong fragrance. They appear from May to June. They produce black, round fruits from August. They exude a strong fragrance. The Cherry laurel 'Bonaparte'® also has shiny, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. The orange-red shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to a width of around 1.5 metres.
