Description
The Portugal laurel 'Variegata' (Prunus lusitanica) is an irregular, picturesque, large evergreen shrub with decorative, glossy, lanceolate, dark green leaves with a white margin. It also bears white flowers arranged in clusters from June to July. These produce black, oval fruits from September. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and is around 5 metres wide.
