Description
The Japanese cherry 'Tai-Haku' (Prunus serrulata) is an upright, vigorous large shrub with decorative fruits. It produces white, cup-shaped flowers from April to May. The Japanese cherry 'Tai-Haku' also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. The copper-brown shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres.
