Description
The Japanese cherry 'Ukon' (Prunus serrulata) is a broad, large shrub with decorative, oval, round fruits. It produces creamy white flowers from April to May. The Japanese cherry 'Ukon' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. The bronze-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 15 metres.
