Description
The Fuji cherry 'Umineko' (Prunus incisa) is a multi-stemmed, columnar large shrub or small tree that produces white, cupped flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear in April. The Fuji cherry 'Umineko' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is grey. In a sunny location with humusy, calcareous, nutrient-rich, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 3 metres.
