Description
The Choke cherry 'Canada Red' (Prunus virginiana) is a shrubby, deciduous garden plant with decorative, dark red leaves. The dark red shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears white flowers in May. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
