Description
The Chinese quince (Pseudocydonia sinensis) is a large conical shrub that produces pink-coloured flowers. They appear from April to May. These produce golden yellow, oval fruits. The Chinese quince also has medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres.
