Description
The Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) is a shrub that grows conical, upright, broad, loose and usually reaches a height of around 40 metres and a width of around 10 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are grey-green in colour. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
