Description
The Common hop tree (Ptelea trifoliata) is a bushy, sprawling large shrub with decorative, light brown winged fruits that stay on for a very long time. These exude a strong fragrance. It produces yellow-green, star-shaped flowers arranged in panicles in June. With the right care, the Common hop tree blooms again in August.
