Description
The Pomegranate 'Wonderful' (Punica granatum) is a very popular, deciduous tub plant whose dark red fruits have a sweet and sour flavour. The skin of the medium-sized fruit is rough. Its orange-red flowers are funnel-shaped and appear from June to July. The light green leaves are lanceolate. The location should be as sunny and sheltered as possible. A well-drained, humusy and sandy soil is ideal. In favourable conditions, the Pomegranate 'Wonderful' reaches a height of approx. 2 m and grows up to 1.2 m wide.
